Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare - 10 Big Reasons To Buy It

10. Loot System And Customisation

Customisation has quickly become a big thing in multiplayer shooters. In previous years, we had to make do with bog-standard soldiers; nowadays, nearly every online game allows you to alter your character to stand out from the crowd. Advanced Warfare is no exception; Sledgehammer have introduced a huge number of customisation options to help players grow attached to their in-game character faster. The options range from accessories (eyewear, helmets) to clothing (shirts, vests) and there's even an option to change up your soldier's head. Sure, this might be a superfluous addition but as Team Fortress 2 has shown, player customisation is still a highly sought after feature. There will also be a loot system added to the game, designed to help players acquire new gear, meaning that playing the game a bunch and completing in-game challenges will reward players with a supply drop. This supply drop will hand the player a random customisation item (from a pool of over 1000) and these will be ranked according to rarity; just to make the whole thing a bit more addictive. Hopefully we'll see some zany and creative items to help brighten up Advanced Warfare's world a touch.

I have an addiction to achievements, a craving for new bands and a dream to become Captain America. I once finished second in a Mario Kart 7 tournament so I'm kind of a big deal.
