Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 - Ranking All 20 Primary Weapons

The GKS is probably the most reliable submachine gun available in Black Ops 4 multiplayer. It looks to be a rough year ahead for fans of SMGs as they are almost entirely outmatched by loadouts featuring ARs and tactical rifles, but the GKS may offer a glimmer of hope to those who sprint off toward the objective as soon as the match starts.

Again, much like all of the other submachine guns represented in Black Ops 4, the GKS is not an outrageously powerful weapon, and it isn’t uncommon to hit an enemy five or six times with it only to have them slide into cover and out of view. This is particularly prevalent at range where the gun really suffers.

However, this weapon shines with the operator mod attached, which allows the GKS to be fired in three-round bursts. This significantly improves accuracy at a distance and even increases the fire rate without sacrificing any of the gun’s features.

Though users will still find themselves struggling to compete against certain ARs thanks to the low damage output, the GKS is a valuable weapon which definitely has a place on Call of Duty’s battlefield.
