Call Of Duty Modern Warfare: 10 Iconic Maps That NEED To Return

Dome is often touted as the best map from Modern Warfare 3, and it's hard to disagree.

This abandoned Cold War base would create the perfect contradictory atmosphere alongside the modernised combat.

Modern Warfare has thus far favoured smaller maps with the introduction of Shoot House and recreation of Rust and Shipment, so Dome would fit into the usual playlists seamlessly.

Fighting can occur anywhere on the map with a variety of terrain to be found. From the tight containers to the north, the abandoned office to the west, the underground bunker to the south or the dome itself to the east.

Sniping is not suitable for this map with SMGs and Shotguns the favoured approach due to the many tight corners and pieces of cover.

Alternate cover is spread throughout the map in the form of an Abrams tank, Humvee's and sandbag barriers. There are also elements of verticality to be found with small slopes and a catwalk built along the dome's exterior.

This map is perfect for that run-and-gun, hectic experience, with headquarters gameplay being particularly chaotic.
