Call Of Duty: Warzone - 10 Reasons You NEED To Play
2. The Respawn System
While Blackout eventually provided some modes which allowed for respawning teammates, Warzone takes it one step further, and introduces a respawn system which is integral to how you play.
Upon their untimely demise, players will be carted off to the Gulag as a Prisoner of the Warzone. It is in the Gulag where players will square off in a brief and intense 1V1 with another downed player, where the victor will be respawned into the match.
But do not fret. If you are unsuccessful in your fight to the death or are unfortunately met with more piercing bullets upon your respawn, there is still hope. For the small fee of $4500, players that are very much alive and kicking, can buy back their loyal teammates; increasing their chances of survival as the circle continues to draw tighter.
This new respawn system is a clever way of countering the player dropout, where upon death players would immediately back out of the lobby, and wait for another game.
Not just this, but the Gulag is a genuinely nerve-wracking experience, knowing that winning could be THE thing that eventually leads your team to victory.
