Dark Souls: 10 Cheats & Glitches That Broke The Game
1. Unkillable NPC
This is more of a cheese strategy than a true glitch or cheat, but it was at the very least amusing to watch. In Dark Souls 3, when you approach Firelink Shrine for the first time, to the left of the entrance there is a man wearing some tattered clothing and holding a katana.
Very dangerous at such low levels as he dealt massive damage and could be tricky to deal with.
As long as you had killed him prior, he could be summoned for both The Vordt and Dancer fights. Dancer of the Boreal Valley is a fight that is intended to be done later, but you can trigger it early. If you do, she is a tough boss that hits like a train, especially when you’re woefully under levelled.
The way the glitch worked was to summon Sword Master, lead him to the Dancer fight and let him die. Before his death animation completed, you saved and quit out. When you reloaded and summoned him again, he was immune to damage and could not be killed.
Just stay out of the way, watch from the side lines and let the man in the rags do the heavy lifting.
