7. Run In A Straight Line Away From A Horde

Now, this might sound simple, but in the thick of it when you're being chased by hundreds of Freakers it's easy to forget. If you've accidentally bitten off more than you can chew and have a horde on your tail, don't start weaving back and forth thinking you can outmanoeuvre the mass of bodies and teeth behind you.

Sure, it's fine to weave in and out if you can use obstacles to impede the horde, but if you're on the open road, running straight forward will ensure the zombies will never be able to touch you.

So forget what you've learned from movies like Prometheus, running in a straight line is the best thing to do here, as even if you're out of stamina you should always keep one step ahead of the Freakers behind you. Sure, you're going to have to do something to stop the chase, but knowing you can't be killed will at least offer you a breather to get your act together.
