And finally, we have an Easter egg that's been hiding in plain sight ever since the game's first trailer dropped at E3 2016.

The title reveal includes eight strands attached to 11 letters, and lo and behold, the game ended up releasing on November 8th - that is, 8/11 or 11/8.

As tough as this might be to believe given the ever-shifting nature of games development and how challenging it would be to set a release date in stone more than three years ahead of time, if there's anyone who could do it, it's surely Kojima.

Fingers crossed we might get some confirmation from the man himself at some point. And honestly, even if it's not true, he may as well take credit for it at this point.
