5. The Doll
With the container connected, Guillermo Del Toro's character waits for a moment before the doll seen at the start of the trailer drifts by in the water.
If you look carefully enough however, you'll see that the doll is being guided by a strand wrapped around it's ankle. The doll also has a broken torso section similar in appearance to Norman Reedus' character's scar.
As the doll drifts in to the tunnel, Del Toro follows, with the camera panning back to reveal dolphin and whale bodies piled up either side of the shot. This could be a visual call back to the first trailer, or further evidence of this world's environmental distress.
