Destiny 2: 10 Things You Didn't Know You Could Do

6. Gain Access To Those Lost Subclasses

When you start Destiny, you're only going to have access to one of your three subclasses, and that available subclass will be the spankin' new one added to Destiny 2. It's possible to unlock those old ones though, it just takes a little bit of extra work.

Once you hit level 8, you'll be able to unlock your second class, but in order to do that you're going to have to open a chest out on patrol. Almost any chest will do, just make sure you go out of your way to do so once you hit level 8.

You'll get an artifact that will require you to do public events with other guardians to charge it. Once charged you will unlock a mission where you learn some lore about the class as well as lay waste to a bunch of enemies. The third class will be available come level 14 through the same method.

It can get a little tricky when it comes to unlocking that third class, however. These are going to be those Taken King classes - Nightstalker, Sunbreaker and Stormcaller. However, if you still have that artifact in your inventory for your second class, you're not going to be able to unlock the third until that second is maxed out first.

You need to make sure you do these missions as soon as possible, to avoid taking even longer to gain full access to your classes, and when it comes to decimating all those around you, do it with a full arsenal.
