Destiny 2: Ranking All Exotic Weapons From Worst To Best

8. Sunshot

Destiny 2 exotic
Bungie

This is where we start getting into the good and very useful exotics in Destiny 2. Deciding to go with any of these moving forward would be a good choice, as they all shine in certain aspects of the game.

When it comes to the Sunshot, you have a very reliable hand cannon that excels in PvE. It's shortcomings come when you try and take it into PvP however, thanks to its small clip and the fact that most hand cannons are trash in the Crucible right now.

In PvE though the Sunshot will more than hold its own. Its exotic perk allows you to track enemies that have been hit by it as well as causing enemies killed with it to explode with a blast of solar energy. Tack on its explosive rounds and you have an add killing machine.

For some, this is the best exotic in the game right now. However, its weaknesses in the Crucible and overall ability to be outclassed by other guns has it sitting in the middle of the pack.
