E3 2017: 10 Major Reveals & Announcements We Need To See
4. Beyond Good And Evil 2
Beyond Good And Evil is yet another franchise that Ubisoft hasn't made any progression on. The original game was well received for its graphics and characters (, it’s protagonist Jade), and another instalment will increase profit for Ubisoft, but provide a fun and enjoyable experience for the players.
The first Beyond Good And Evil was an action-adventure game, with stealth and puzzle based elements incorporated into it. It followed protagonist Jade, the year being 2345, on the mining planet of Hillys. Jade was a young photo-journalist, who was aided by underground rebel alliance IRIS, while trying to help defend against a siege instituted by the alien race Dom-Z.
Although the story sounds cut-and-dry, what pushed the game along was the believable and advanced personalities of its characters, which pleasantly surprised the gamers of 2002 who were more used to being guided through a story via on-screen text or narration.
The game is rumoured to be announced for the Nintendo Switch exclusively, which, if true, will cement Ubisoft and Nintendo's partnership for years to come.
