5. BioWare's Mysterious New IP Is Anthem

As was heavily rumoured, EA also unveiled their own new IP, a sci-fi-themed title named Anthem. Though the teaser trailer was light on concrete details, it depicted some sort of post-apocalyptic world where a wall has been erected to apparently separate humanity from a race of gigantic alien creatures, and features a protagonist wearing, you guessed it, futuristic battle armour.

Though it doesn't look especially original in terms of style or narrative, BioWare's reputation speaks for itself, and with a full gameplay reveal to come during Microsoft's conference, this was certainly a compelling enough lead-in all the same.
