E3 2017: 6 Ups & 6 Downs From Sony's Conference
2. Yes, Sony Is Still Supporting PSVR
PSVR fans were rightly worried that Sony might turn the headset into another PS Vita and quickly stop supporting it, even though, if figures can be believed, PSVR is selling relatively well for such an expensive niche peripheral.
Well, Sony mercifully came firing out of the gate by announcing six new PSVR games during the conference: Skyrim VR, platformer Star Child, Until Dawn prequel The Inpatient, a Final Fantasy XV fishing game (really), Aim controller shooter Bravo Team, and a cute adventure game starring a mouse, Moss.
That's without even talking about Doom VFR, which was confirmed for PSVR during Bethesda's conference, psychological thriller Transference which was revealed by Ubisoft, or Superhot VR, which was weirdly announced before the Sony conference rather than just appearing in the show's PSVR trailer montage.
Basically, PSVR owners can rest easy that they aren't being abandoned. Repeat: Skyrim in VR. Hell yes.
