E3 2018: 10 Best Things At Microsoft's Conference

1. Cyberpunk 2077

Halo Infinite
CD Projekt Red

Cyberpunk 2077 may not have been seen in action for several years, but that hasn't stopped it from being one of the most exciting games of E3.

This was clearly reflected by its appearance at the conference itself, which happened right at the end with a mock hacking of the E3 stage screen. The fact that Microsoft thought that Cyberpunk deserved to end the show over one of their own exclusive games is a testament to how excited people are.

The trailer itself shows exactly why people are desperate to get their hands on it, and it didn't even show us any gameplay.

In a similar vein to The Witcher 3, one of the standout aspects of Cyberpunk is its world. It feels lived in and real in all the best ways and it makes it so unique in a genre that's starting to get stale.

We'll have to wait a bit longer to see some actual gameplay footage of Cyberpunk, but if it's anything like what we've seen so far it'll be a serious game changer.

Jumping through portals, swinging through cities, destroying beings made of darkness and occasionally shooting a gun or two. I also write about games.
