E3 2018: 10 "Problems" People Are Overreacting About

4. Sony Moving Venues Mid-Show

At the end of the day, this was really just a mild inconvenience. Having 15 minutes taken away for a pretty neat trick full of care is nothing in the grand scheme of things.

The problem came following the Last Of Us section of the conference, where the audience had to be moved from the church background to the main theatre where the rest of the show would take place. This took about 15 minutes, so viewers were left sitting and watching an intermission whilst they waited.

Was this a bit short-sighted by Sony? Sure. Is it something that held them back? Not really.

It's not like the announcements stopped there either, as the intermission featured presenters showing us a few more smaller titles and talking about things that would have been at the presentation anyway.

For those who were there at E3, this was undoubtedly a cool effect, it's just a shame it didn't translate so well to streaming. It's not something to be hung up about though.
