E3 2018: 10 "Problems" People Are Overreacting About

5. Smash Ultimate Only Adding Three Characters

Smash Ultimate is the biggest Smash game we've ever seen, and we still don't even know half of the content that'll be in it. So why is only adding two new characters and a clone such a bad thing?

This complaint just comes off as extremely ungrateful. The development team has worked incredibly hard to include every single character that has ever been in the series, developed two brand new ones, included more stages than ever before and tweaked every single character to the point where they might as well be new.

The amount of work that has gone into Smash Ultimate is staggering, to say the least. With all of this content you'd think that people would be happy, but there is still a vocal minority who call it a simple port that isn't worth the time of day.

It's not even confirmed yet that there aren't more new characters coming. Let's wait and see what happens, and for now just appreciate the chance to enjoy one big Smash fan trip.
