E3 2018: 13 Insane Announcements That Could Actually Happen
9. Crackdown 3 Is Released On Xbox Game Pass Immediately After Microsoft's Conference

Who doesn't love it when a game gets shadow-dropped during an E3 conference totally out of nowhere? It's honestly surprising it doesn't happen more often, but one suspects we're going to see at least one major game insta-released to the shock of players worldwide.
And that game will probably be Crackdown 3, which was first announced at E3 four years ago and has shown off curiously little since, prompting speculation the project has had a troubled development.
We already know that Crackdown 3 will be available day-and-date on Xbox Game Pass, so what better way to get people excited than making it available the minute the Microsoft conference ends?
How Likely Is It?: Highly likely, as crazy as it would be. General buzz on the game is pretty middling due to the dubious marketing and poor messaging on Microsoft's part, but making it available out of nowhere would be a great way to drum up excitement without a lengthy, tedious hype campaign.
Plus, let's be honest: being able to play it for a few bucks on Game Pass right away will probably make people go a little easier on it.
