8. Shadows Die Twice Is A Tenchu Reboot

FromSoftware's untitled new game - commonly referred to as Shadows Die Twice - was first teased at last December's The Game Awards, and since then speculation has run rampant about whether the game will be a new Dark Souls title, Bloodborne II or something entirely new.

There have been pervasive rumours that the game could in fact be a reboot of the very stealth action series FromSoftware themselves has worked on in the past: Tenchu.

How Likely Is It?: The fact that FromSoft owns the rights to the series makes it an obvious possibility, and fans have also pointed out the "Shadows Die Twice" moniker having stealthy implications, as well as the distinctly traditional Japanese iconography present in the teaser trailer.

Then again, would it shock anyone if this was just Bloodborne II? Absolutely not. Wait and see.
