E3 2018: Every High-Profile Video Game Confirmed So Far
7. Super Smash Bros. Switch
Going off one hell of a leaked docket for Nintendo's full conference (if it's true, anyway) we could say new F-Zero and Star Fox games are coming - but let's stick with what's officially confirmed. Obviously Super Smash Bros. is a console standard for every sequential system, and the sales record-setting Switch is no different.
At time of writing we don't know if this is yet another Wii U port at its core, a la Donkey Kong: Tropical Freeze and Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, but there are some new characters, at least. The Splatoon Inklings were seen in the teaser trailer, for a start, alongside new versions of Zelda and Link from Breath of the Wild.
Just how much you can change Smash Bros.' gameplay to differentiate it for the next generation is up to the fans, but getting SSB on Switch in any full capacity will be enough for most.
