E3 2019: 10 Rumoured Video Games You Need To Know About

6. The Avengers Project

Square Enix have been working on an as yet untitled Avengers game for a while, and despite a teaser trailer coming out last year, we still don’t know anything of note about the game. E3 seems like the perfect time for an update, some gameplay footage, and possibly even a release window.

What the trailer does hint at is that it appears to be focusing on the MCU’s original six Avengers, although it’s possible more could be present in the game. Black Panther has much more marketability than Hawkeye, for example, though it may prove too late for Carol Danvers to join the party.

With so much happening in the movie world and everyone waiting with baiting breath to see the fall out from the snap, interest in the game has cooled. That’s mainly because of how little we know about it, and something substantial out of E3 could ride the incoming hype of Endgame.

Agents Of Mayhem was an average game at best, and a needless spinoff from Saint’s Row. However, the sandbox exploration with the ability to choose not only your character but the supporting squadmates could work perfectly for the Avengers circa the Battle Of New York.
