18. Sea Of Thieves: A Pirate's Life Is A Pirates Of The Caribbean-Themed Free DLC
Sea of Thieves continues to be one of the most surprisingly prosperous new IP of the last five years, going from strength to strength after its undeniably shaky start, in large part thanks to its community-bolstering presence on Xbox Game Pass.
Rare revealed that a free DLC update is on the way, Sea of Thieves: A Pirate's Life, which will serve as a tie-in with the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
The reveal trailer showed off the presence of Captain Jack Sparrow - voiced by an impeccable, currently unnamed vocal stand-in for Johnny Depp - along with his ragtag crew and also the inimitable Davy Jones.
The DLC campaign will add five new tales to the game, centered around freeing Sparrow from imprisonment at the hands of Jones, and seems like a frankly perfect marriage of two much-loved IP.
Better still, fans don't have long to wait at all, as A Pirate's Life will be released on June 22.
