In his most recent fight Matt Brown put on an incredible performance against an extremely dangerous opponent in Erick Silva. The Brazilian with his arsenal of potent strikes had been favoured by the bookmakers but Brown overcame the odds to pick up a TKO victory in highly entertaining fashion this is typical of The Immortals underdog career. Though both fighters were hurt on multiple occasions, Browns superior cardio and ridiculous heart proved to be the deciding factor which enabled him to pick up easily the biggest win of his career. Ever since we saw the American on the seventh series of The Ultimate Fighter, his fiery temperament and super-aggressive style made him a well-liked fighter. However, his limited submission defence had always prevented him from rising to the upper echelons of the welterweight division. Now he has ironed these issues out, Brown is a force to be reckoned with at 170-lbs. His next fight is an incredibly tough test against Carlos Condit in an exciting clash of strikers. Though Condit will likely be a reasonable sized favourite, if Brown is capable of once again upsetting the odds he will be on the verge of a title shot. His relentless style and position in the welterweight division mean that if EA wish to stay relevant and true to the UFC, Matt Brown should become available through DLC.
