Elden Ring: 10 Most Difficult Bosses You'll Encounter
1. Malenia, Blade Of Michella
Topping this list is the secret optional boss you can only challenge after making it to the very end of Elphael, Brace Of The Haligtree. This character is already formidable enough; she’s theorized to have been the person to bring all the Scarlet Rot to Caelid, defeat Radhan, and is the undefeated warrior of the game.
Her attacks are ruthless; not only does each slice take out half your health bar, but it also restores a part of hers. If you get caught in her Waterflow Dance attack, you can pretty much kiss away your chances of actually winning unless you manage to execute the precise timing of your dodges. This is already hard enough, but this is the easy part, as you might expect.
After you take away her first health bar, she’ll be reborn into the Goddess Of Rot. Not only does she have all her abilities from her previous phase, but she can now inflict Scarlet Rot and execute massive AOE attacks unlike anything you’ve seen in the game before.
The only saving grace of this fight is that not only can she be staggered, but she’s also susceptible to bleed, so well-timed attacks alongside an understanding of her patterns can eventually take her out.
