The Elder Scrolls VI: 10 Awesome Locations That Could Be Used

5. Skyrim

As much as we want a whole new world to explore, Skyrim is still rich with lore. Imagine a new engine with Skyrim as the landscape - there was so much to do in the original we were given that players are still discovering new things after hundreds of hours. This is Bethesda's biggest achievement so far, and you can't deny that. Bethesda could jump back in time to when Ysgramor and his companions first came to settle Tamriel. This is back when the Snow Elves were still around. Today, they are the Falmer. The Dwemer would also have been a prominent force in this time, meaning them and the Snow Elves give us two new race options. The old ruins in ESV would become some of the cosmopolitan centres, and it would be a joy to see them in an assembled, working state. Contrast the early human cities with the Snow Elf architecture, which could provide for rich dynamics in visuals - the Dwemer would be there as well. Initially, negotiations were peaceful between Snow Elves and the Atmorans that settled in the north of Skyrim. Tensions rose over the anxiety of human overpopulation and their discovery of something underneath Saarthal (recall the College of Winterhold questline). Perhaps the story could begin here.
