There doesn’t seem to be a single month that passes by without a hungry indie developer creating their own spin on the ever-resilient Metroidvania formula.

This Switch console exclusive is, at first glance, a bizarrely individual title featuring a premise of a lone tablet fighting against a robot apocalypse. Observing the gameplay footage though, it is made quite clear that it is actually a spin on the familiar sub-genre structure.

Regardless, this should be judged according to the gameplay and challenge, on that basis, this title looks like it will deliver in spades.
