8. We Happy Few

Release Date: Aug. 10th

Finally getting shown off after years of back n' forth in regards to pretty half-baked betas, We Happy Few is getting a release in August later this year.

If you went hands-on with the beta you'll know the game plays like a combination of Bioshock's movement and pick-up-every-last-thing gameplay twinned with wider survival mechanics in an open world. The latter parts have apparently been scaled back as We Happy Few's story is about a dystopian England taking a drug called Joy to actively mask the dilapidated surrounding world, but there'll still be one hell of an intense ride to go on.

Compulsion Games have been very careful in holding this back until it's more fully formed, and as a past Xbox exclusive, has been waited on by an entire platform of fans for years.
