After signing an exclusivity deal with Sony a few years ago, the newly reborn Kojima Productions quickly got to work on their next game, Death Stranding, the first project legendary developer Hideo Kojima has directed outside of the Metal Gear Solid franchise in years.
The footage we've seen so far is tantalising, but no matter how fascinating the trailers look and how much pedigree Kojima has from his work on the Metal Gear franchise, we shouldn't be blind to the fact that we still don't know anything about the actual game itself.
Apart from a few developer comments and the CG trailers, players have nothing else to base their hype on. So until we get more information you shouldn't be placing all your bets on Dead Stranding just yet.
