3. Legend Of Zelda: Links Awakening

Originally released as a major title on Nintendo's first-run Gameboy, Awakening had the Zelda series take a refreshing detour, with Link washing up on an island and getting caught up in adventures with the mad inhabitants and sinister wildlife.

It resulted in a historically underrated game, that is getting a full-fledged remake for the Switch. It's a thrill to see a Zelda console release with the retro top-down 2D style of the classics.
