2. Super Mutant Ending - Fallout 1

Those with even a tertiary knowledge of the Fallout series will probably already be well-aware of the questionable ethics behind the system of vaults intended to preserve humanity in the event of a nuclear catastrophe.

In the first Fallout game, the player is an inhabitant of Vault 13, originally intended to serve as an experiment on the effects of prolonged isolation. However, a failure with the water chip meant that the Vault Dweller is forced to go out into the Californian wastes to try and find a replacement.

While on their mission, the player will come into contact with an army of genetically modified super mutants commanded by The Master and various other hostile factions.

When they encounter The Master, the player can choose to join his trans-humanist super mutant organisation The Unity, but they must first divulge the location of the vault that they were raised in.

The player will then be mutated by the Forced Evolutionary Virus, and become a super mutant.

An army of super mutants will then embark in massacring everyone in the burgeoning community of the vault resulting in one of the most graphic scenes in the series' history.
