Fallout: 10 Most Evil Things That Can Happen

3. Blowing Up Megaton - Fallout 3

Probably the most well known of all of the evil choices available to the player in the Fallout series is the option to detonate an unexploded atomic bomb in the settlement of Megaton in Fallout 3.

With Megaton inexplicably built around an unexploded bomb, the player is asked by town sheriff Lucas Simms upon their arrival to set about disarming it for the good of the citizens. However, that is not what this list is about, so players looking to indulge their evil fantasies should seek Mr Burke who will offer the player a reward for rigging the bomb to explode and wiping Megaton off the map.

Though this is often built up as a 'shades of grey' type moral quandary the decision of whether or not to massacre everyone in the burgeoning community solely for personal gain is about as straightforward as it gets.

Murdering an entire settlement including children and the elderly just so you can get a nice new home and a decent amount of caps is about as villainous as it gets and more than deserving of a spot on this list.
