Fallout 4: 10 Majorly Overlooked Features That Will Be Amazing

3. Dogmeat & Buddy Commands

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NgY5kTWxDuI Last Metal Gear reference I'm going to make (probably), but alongside Fallout 3's optional companion Dogmeat, is MGS V's D-Dog as the finest canine companion this side of Fable 2. It's clear Bethesda noticed just how much gamers who did find Dogmeat in Fallout 3 simply loved sharing their adventure with him, and so for this, they're doubling down on the idea by making him a someone you'll get right near the beginning of the game. The big change though, is just how effective he'll truly be when out exploring or out in combat. We can now give Dogmeat a slew of commands ranging from picking up weapons to tackling, disarming and killing enemies - which is a far cry from him giving away your position any time you were attempting to sneak past an enemy or creature. As Fallout 3, MGS V, Fable 2 and even Mad Max to an extent have shown, there's just something incredibly enjoyable about exploring gargantuan landscapes with the aid of an animal buddy.
