Fallout 4: 10 Small Problems That Stop It Being Perfect
6. Preston Garvey And The Constant Threat Of Settlements
How many times have you felt as though you've just about accomplished something decent for the Minutemen, when the next thing you know you get an extra piece of dialogue saying "...there's more"? Because honestly, it's as if Preston Garvey believes that the sole-survivor is entirely capable of managing the Commonwealth by himself. It might be a little comical after the first few times it happens, but when it happens again and again? It can really feel as though you're making no new headway into the game. Every settlement you save suffers a kidnapping, or an attack, or raider trouble, and it's all up to you and you alone to fix it, despite supposedly having an entire militia to accompany you in your attacks. The quests are repetitive and tedious, but the one good thing is that you don't have to do them - actually discovering that for yourself however, is another thing entirely.
