Fallout 4: 12 Disturbing Stories & Locations You Totally Missed

11. The Boylston Club's Suicide Pact

There are plenty of places in the Boston Commonwealth that you could imagine flourishing before the war. The Boylston Club in the heart of the city is not one of them. At first glance it just seems like your basic Fallout 4 dungeon: a bunch of corpses littered around a dilapidated former bar with a small amount of loot for you to grab early in the game.

Essentially your classic unmarked location in Bethesda's new title. However, upon further inspection it's clear that not everything is as it seems when it comes to the skeletons found in every corner of the club. You might notice that most of them are either holding empty beer bottles, which at first glance doesn't seem too out of place - after all, you are in the remnants of a classy exclusive bar.

If you look closely, you'll realise that all of the bottles are labelled as poison, while a terminal hidden behind the counter explains that the alcohol was intentionally sabotaged before the bombs hit mainland Boston.

Deciding to take their own life rather than live in a post-apocalyptic world, the club vowed that they'd see themselves out before they succumbed to a fate worse than death, enjoying one last drink in a world that was about to be obliterated.
