9. Suffolk County Charter School's Questionable Lunch Menu
School dinners are always terrible, so of course the ones in the Fallout universe are going to be even worse. No one likes being told what to eat, but if you were informed that all food at school was being replaced by a bright pink goo that's supposedly full of essential vitamins, you'd probably do more than raise an eyebrow.
In the Suffolk County Charter School at the very south of the Boston Commonwealth, this very same thing happened. In a bid to cut costs in the school's budget, the principle took a government grant that replaced all the food in the school with an experimental bright pink goo.
Over the course of numerous terminal entries and recorded holotapes it becomes apparent that, obviously, this nutritional replacement wasn't exactly the healthiest thing on the menu. And when children started getting sick the higher-ups at the school insisted that it was most definitely not the fault of the new dietary requirements. Even when the kids started turning the same colour as the food itself, no one batted an eye at the goo that was imposed on the school.
