Fallout 4: 15 Ultimate Wishlist Features It Must Have
5. New Graphics Engine
Fallout 3 was released in 2008, and at the time it looked amazing but the standard of graphics has continued to move on significantly since then, and with the latest generation of consoles now on the market there is a dire need now for a completely new engine. The Skyrim engine was a large improvement, but in terms of character models and lighting effects more can be done. You only need to see the improvements that people have been able to make to the game using mods to see how much scope for improvement there is. Dynamic lighting effects, smoke particles and use of weather effects could all be added to make the latest Fallout one of the most engaging environments we've seen in gaming. The artistic direction of the games is tremendous, use of the upbeat 1950's advertising paired with the hopelessness of the apocalypse is always great. Now is the time to pair that terrific artistic direction with a game engine that allows it to shine through in the best way possible.
