Fallout 4: 15 Ultimate Wishlist Features It Must Have
6. Vehicles
The Fallout universe is full of cars, which sit abandoned on the roads taking up space, and which are useful as cover from gunfire but for very little else. Fallout 4 needs to change this, and make vehicles an essential part of gameplay the same way Arkham Knight has already adopted. Fallout 2 had a drivable vehicle called The Highwayman, and Fallout 4 needs to retread the steps of its predecessor, because a vehicle would reduce the need for fast travelling all over the map, and would allow some completely original game mechanics. The vehicle could be used as a pack, carrying your most important items, a weapon to help battle enemies, as well as most obviously as a form of transport. Allowing users to upgrade and customise their vehicle to suit their purpose would make the vehicles seem important, not just a bolt-on addition. Skyrim had horses in their game, and it would be a shame if something similar was missed from the new Fallout game.
