Fallout 4: 9 Ways You're Playing It Wrong

9. Power Armour Isn't Only For Combat

With it's ability to go through fusion cores like there's no tomorrow and an armour degradation system that can catch you off-guard if you don't keep it maintained, thinking of Power Armour as an overpowered inclusion that makes it easy to barricade through the wasteland is actually very far from the truth. In reality, they're rather limited in their uses, chewing through Fusion Cores like there's no tomorrow, and as a result, knowing when to tactically use one is imperative. Outside of taking care to sprint and jump where necessary, there are a couple of key functions you might miss out on if you've been leaving your Armour sitting on its rack at home. Want to traverse a particularly irradiated landscape? Grab your power armour, it has some of the highest Rad-resistance in the game. Need to go on a junk-run to stock up on those valuable consumables? You're gonna need every bit of extra help you can get to bring it all home, and the armour's increased inventory will let you bring back the goods long before spending points on perks for the same thing.
