Fallout 5 Wishlist: 8 Rumours We Want To Come True

1. It Might Be A Shared World Experience

While I've detailed before how Bethesda has been on a hiring spree for online and multiplayer programmers, seemingly for a Fallout MMO, it's starting to look more likely that these extra developers are being brought on to work on the main games the company is known for.

Whether it's for their next release or The Elder Scrolls, the studio seems to be focusing on including some sort of multiplayer element into their future titles. It seems to be the right decision as well, as the industry as a whole is moving closer to the shared world vision spearheaded by games like Destiny and the upcoming Anthem.

Developers are quickly realising that the core of story-centric RPGs doesn't have to be lost by the addition of other players, and so it's not unthinkable that if Bethesda is already gearing up to implement a shared online world in its upcoming games, then that might pave the way for its inclusion in the future of Fallout too.
