9. Test Out New Vehicles
It's refreshing to see that Ubisoft are going the way of Rockstar: bigger, better, badder with each new instalment. Vehicles have been part of the Far Cry experience, from hang-gliders to quad bikes, cars to trucks, there's always been ways to surprise your enemies or zip around the map.
Far Cry 5 is going all-out with vehicles. You aren't just stuck with the 1-man perilous helicopter from Far Cry 4 any longer. Players are to be given access to a full-blown plane, complete with mounted guns and the ability to drop ordnance for explosive fun. However, it still seems up in the air (ha!) as to whether flight will be for NPCs only - or whether or not the helicopter seen for a moment is able to be flown ourselves.
Elsewhere there are tractors complete with farming tools attached to the front for destructive chaos to make mincemeat out of enemy footsoldiers and 18-wheelers (so far seen without trailers) to go crashing through local towns and destroy any barriers stood in your way of success.
If that's not enough, there will also be muscle cars for high speed car chases and gun battles. Awesome.
