3. It's A Way Bigger Jump That Far Cry 4 Was To 3
In relation to the two-year gap between the releases of Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4, Far Cry Primal is coming out at a bit of a strange time - namely one year and three months since the last one. The quick turnaround has led people to wonder whether Primal is essentially a standalone expansion for Far Cry 4 - throwing players into a kooky new setting that's just a re-skin of the main game. But Primal's creative director, Maxime Beland, confirmed in an interview with GameSpot that "this is the next Far Cry", that the world is as big as that of Far Cry 4, and that the length of the main game is also similar to that of its predecessor. So with that in mind, Primal should be treated with the same scrutiny we'd treat a full-on standalone game.
