FIFA 13 vs PES 2013: 4 Reasons Why PES 2013 Will Win The War

But... I Might Be Wrong

There is one aspect of the demos that might make FIFA the more enjoyable of the two footballing games however. And that is the art of scoring goals. FIFA feels like it has a weight to it: goals feel like they hit the back of the net and the feeling that gives is greater than scoring in Pro Evo, so much so that I imagine Arsene Wenger prefers Pro Evo. After all, why would you ruin a good move with a goal when the result is so understated? All joking aside, that is actually a major flaw: the entire point of the sport is the one thing that Pro Evo fails to deliver on. It might even be the lack of commentary on the demo that manages to dilute the reaction as the goal goes in, but I doubt it. It could also be a result of the ball physics I'd praised earlier and the weightlessness that provides, but there's certainly something not quite right. Also, the manipulation of shots is poorer than FIFA's more controlled approach. That might not be a major issue for some gamers, but to me, in the end it all feels very The Tortoise and The Hare. So, what do you think football game fans? Will PES 2013 or FIFA 13 emerge as the better of the two games? What are your thoughts based on the demos already released? Share your thoughts below.
