FIFA 13 vs PES 2013: 4 Reasons Why PES 2013 Will Win The War

1. Graphics

Now, the graphics argument is all dependent on taste when comparing the two titles. Pro Evo has a much sharper edge when comparing players and this makes them stand out, particularly in the beautiful designed replays (of which there are actually too many) and with close-ups considering the crowd look flat and frightened. FIFA on the other hand has a more rounded feel and the generated world they play seems to all fit together - nothing jarring here. There is one comparative issue though - and it's the one that hands victory to PES here - and I think it stems from EA's idea that dynamic lighting is a good thing. It happened in Madden 13, and it's happening here: the bright is too bright and the shadows are too dark. Sure, it makes everything more vibrant, but compared to Pro Evo's more reserved tones, it makes FIFA less realistic. The sun is not located somewhere behind the Etihad stadium in Manchester, so please, tone it down.
