Many have also quibbled over the rating of Ashley Young. The Manchester United winger hasn't scored a league goal since 2012 and in fact didn't score in any competition he took part in last season, making just 23 overall appearances. The England international suffered with injuries last term, which goes some way to explaining his mere 19 appearances in the Premier League, but he has been far too inconsistent to deserve his rating of 82, injured or not. Young has only rarely threatened to emulate the good form enjoyed during his Aston Villa days and was absolutely awful in United's recent 4-1 defeat by rivals City.
