£4m as they look to keep the star teenager within their ranks. Hughes has clocked up 40 first-team appearances for his boyhood club since joining as a first-year scholar from Mickleover Jubilee in 2011. He has previously worn the England shirt as an Under-17 international, and currently represents his nation at Under-21 level. Fulham manager Martin Jol, who is also interested in the youngster, has publicly declared his desire to bring Hughes to Craven Cottage:
"Believe me, there is probably 10 clubs in the Premier League having a look at him," the Dutchman said. "He is one of these wonderful talents so he is always on lists. If you have a good scouting system, he will always be on the list but we will see."
With so many zealous admirers in the English top-flight, it shouldn't be long before the midfield wizard steps up to test his limits in the Premier League.
