The winger has 18 senior appearances to his name for Betis since arriving at the club in 2011. The 18-year-old also earned a total of 15 caps for Spain at a variety of junior levels, including Under-17, Under-19 and most recently, Under-20. Tottenham are linked with a move for the Spanish youngster, supposedly in a bid to replace Gareth Bale should he depart for Real Madrid. However, in addition to the
£17.3m release clause in his contract, Betis club president Miguel Guillen isn't keen on letting go of their star wide man just yet:
"The club's intention is that Vadillo shall stay at Betis. For us to allow our young prodigy to depart, there would have to be a very strong financial benefit for the club," Guillen said. "Vadillo has a great future in front of him, and we are very excited thinking about what he is going to bring to us during this coming season."
