FIFA 14 Ultimate Team: 5 Players Who Deserve A January Ratings Boost
4. Aaron Ramsey - Arsenal
Last season's Premier League was lit up by a Welshman from North London, but after Gareth Bale's world record departure to Real Madrid in the summer of 2013, few would have predicted the same to happen again. Certainly, the good folks at EA failed to foresee Aaron Ramsey remarkable purple patch, having elected to give him a rating of 77 that now seems frankly ridiculous. To be fair to EA, Ramsey had looked a distinctly average player ever since his horrific leg break at the hands of Ryan Shawcross, but he has been exemplary this season, somehow outscoring all of Arsenal's attacking talents from a deep lying midfield position, and winning the club's player of the month competition an unprecedented five times in succession. I would expect Ramsey's performances to be recognised with a new rating befitting of his newly acquired status as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League, possibly around the mid 80s mark.
