Finally we come to Eden Hazard, surprisingly just one of two Chelsea stars to make the top 10 highest-rated Premier League players list. The leaks suggest Hazard has enjoyed a sharp increase of rating and has leapt three places to join van Persie, Silva, Aguero and Toure as the joint-top-five highest-rated players in England's topflight. If true, this is a fairly accurate representation of Hazard's abilities and performances last season, in which the tricky winger scored 14 league goals and provided seven assists. That's an exceptional goals return from a midfield player while Hazard was easily Chelsea's best player last term, finishing as the club's top goalscorer for 2013-14 and subsequently being named the London club's Player of the Year. Hazard's fine performances earned him a number of other accolades, which include being voted the PFA Young Player of the Year as well as earning a spot in the PFA Team of the Year as Chelsea finished third in the Premier League. There are few midfielders better than Hazard anywhere in the world and he certainly deserves his place as one of the Premiership's highest-rated players.
