After an inconsistent 2013/14 season, Daniel Agger has been widely linked with a move away from Anfield. The centre backs performances for Liverpool last season were bad enough that he has reportedly been dropped from an 82 overall rating to an 80 in FIFA 15, though this hasnt discouraged Arsene Wenger from being keen to bring the defender to Arsenal. Last season Liverpools main weakness was their defensive reliability. The club had no trouble scoring but defending proved more problematic with the side always living (and sometimes dying) by the score more than your opponent maxim. Though at times Agger found himself benched for Mamadou Sakho, he is still in part responsible for this defensive failure. After the retirement of Jamie Carragher, the Danish defender was made Liverpools vice-captain but this move up the squads hierarchy didnt result in improved performances. Though Agger has reportedly been downgraded you could argue that some of his attributes had been underrated in FIFA 14. In particular his strength rating of 79 seemed low for a player known to be able to physically dominate forwards.
