FIFA 15: 10 Over-Rated Players Who Need Downgrading In January Updates

8. Mesut –zil - 86

There is little doubt that everyone outside the while half of Madrid was left scratching their heads when this year's FIFA ratings were released and the German was handed an 86. After signing for Arsenal in the summer of 2013 for a club record £42.5 million, –zil started brightly but has done little or nothing in the past 16 months or so for The Gunners. FIFA have started to notice his decline in form as his 86 in this year's game is one less than his rating in FIFA 14. To accompany his uninspiring performances for Arsenal, the former Real Madrid man didn't perform at the 2014 World Cup and has spent a large majority of this season out injured. He has scored one goal in seven appearances so far this season. If this trend continues, his rating will be well into the 70s by the time Germany defend their world cup in three-and-a-half years time.
