FIFA 15: 10 Players Who Definitely Deserve A Lower Rating

5. Samuel Eto€™o

FIFA 14 Rating: 84 When creating FIFA 14 the designers clearly decided against scouting Samuel Eto€™o during his time in the Russian Premier League playing for Anzhi Makhachkala. Instead, they just assumed the Cameroon international was still the same striker that impressed greatly during spells with Barcelona and Inter Milan. Eto€™o started his FIFA life with Chelsea with a rating 84; however, it became apparent very quickly that the former Real Madrid striker€™s acceleration stats of 90 and sprint speed of 91 were wide of the mark. An 85 rating for his finishing can also be deemed generous given the striker only managed nine Premier League goals from a total of 59 shots in 21 appearances. At 33 years of age, Eto€™o is certainly in the twilight years of his career and although he can still offer something to his new side Everton €“ a debut goal against former employers Chelsea is testament to that €“ he certainly isn€™t the clinical, speed demon we were accustomed to during his time at the Nou Camp. Suggested Rating: 78
